Whether you're an anchorwoman, a politician, or a baseball player, Chaz (as he likes to be called) can create a look that will work for you. Just ask some of his regular clients - Denise Dufala, Martin Hoke and Orel Hershiser.
"Hair is like a book," says Chaz. "Each strand has a story to tell."
A regular guest on TV-5's "Morning Exchange," Chaz admits to being a bit of an actor when it comes to pleasing his clients.
"I'm able to read a client's personality. If a client wants me to tell them what to do, I'll tell them what to do. If they want me to argue with them, I'll argue with them."
The stylist, who's been in the business for twenty years, has also developed a formula for success.
"I'm consistent. I'm not moody. I listen and communicate well," he says. "And I approach hair from an architectural rather than an artistic viewpoint. To me, the face is a picture and the hair is the frame built around it. Any picture can be ruined by a bad frame."
